Kevin Dick

Kevin Dick is an author and CEO of a research-driven technology company. His company, Network Resonance, holds a patent on secure network auditing technology (an authoritative SSL auditing solution). He founded Claymore Systems with Eric Rescorla and they changed the company name in 2005 to Network Resonance, Inc..

Kevin is the author of XML: A Manager's Guide and a frequent speaker at conferences. He's been a consultant to dozens of companies and his expertise includes rich Internet clients, business process orchestration, Web services and J2EE.

  •  Select MP3 for an iPod or audio MP3 player

  •  Select QuickTime Player, Real Player or Windows Media Player to watch video while browsing the web

  •  Select PocketPC or Palm for offline viewing with a PDA or mobile device.

The video content has been encoded to accommodate viewing with 56K modems or broadband Internet connections. For modems and wireless connections with mobile devices, select 20K below. This will display a 160x120 image at 15 frames per second. For faster connections such as ISDN, select 80K below.

For viewing with Windows Media Player over a broadband connection, select 368K. For mobile viewing, you can play or download versions encoded for a Palm Zire or Pocket PC.

The 96K MP4 video conforms to the basic MP4 profile and will play with QuickTime Player 6.5+, Dicas mpegable Player, MPEG4 Direct and Real Player. The MP4 encoded for a broadband audience (288K) is encoded using an H.264 codec, which is available with QuickTime Player 7.
