David RR Webber
David RR Webber is a key participant in
ebXML, a global e-business initiative by OASIS and the UN. He recently
presented a demonstration of ebXML Registry interoperability in a heterogeneous
software environment (play).
David is a consultant whose expertise includes
e-business, service-oriented architectures (SOA) and business process
technologies. He was co-founder of the XML/edi group and the chief architect of the
Content Assembly Mechanism (CAM) specification within OASIS.
David has been a frequent speaker at conferences. With Alan
Kotok, he co-authored ebXML: The New Global Standard for Doing Business on the Internet.

At XML 2004, David participated with Ashique Tanveer and Anthony
Ton in a demonstration of ebXML
Registry interoperability (listen). The presentation demonstrated interoperability with a heterogeneous software infrastructure for
e-business. The software tools included Cyclone Commerce ebMS, an Oracle
database server, Oracle application server, and an ebXMLsoft Registry with Hermes, OMAR,
TomCat, jBoss and jCAM tools.
