StrikeIron™ Inc. announced the availability of a freely-downloadable
web services analyzer for Windows. The downloadable Premium version of the
StrikeIron Web Services Analyzer for Windows is one of the free tools to be
available for working with the StrikeIron Web Services Marketplace.
The StrikeIron marketplace is an online exchange
for buying and selling commercially-available services. It offers web
services in almost 20 categories, including commerce, finance, government,
sales, and human resources.
The Premium Analyzer enables users to locate web services and analyze their
behavior. Users can access UDDI registries, browse through internal and
external directories and access StrikeIron Web Services Marketplace.
The program provides a point-and-click interface
for dynamically executing web services. It uses a tree structure to present
data about a web service and can save data to a table view for use by other
applications. It supports HTTP authentication and provides a drill-down
capability for analyzing SOAP messages.
“In the past software developers, Website builders
and business analysts spent hours locating Web services, reviewing complex
XML documents and writing code in order to understand a Web service’s
behavior,” said Bob Brauer, president and CEO of StrikeIron. “By offering
this free downloadable tool users will be able to quickly take advantage of
the rapidly increasing number of Web services available throughout the
world.”
